2.1.	The White Mountains - 2090 A.D. Will, Henry, Beanpole and other athletes train at the White Mountains to be sent to the Tripods' annual Games, in Germany. The champions will be taken into the City of Gold, as slaves, and the network of free men hopes to infiltrate a few un-Capped scouts. [On its original BBC1 broadcast, this episode was preceded by a brief recap of series 1, narrated by John Shackley (Will).]
